Main entrance and garage etc.
Main entrance and entry area
By the main entrance and the entry area lighting has several functions. In many cases it is practical with several different lamps. First of all it is important that a well-placed wall lamp ensures that you can see who is ringing the doorbell. It is a good idea to place the lamp next to the door so it can light up a larger area in front of the front door. Good outdoor lighting also gives a larger feeling of security. Furthermore it is important that slabs and any steps are well-lit. Here you can for example choose low-hanging wall lamps, bury spots or one or more bed lamps. For the eaves of the house it gives a very nice effect with internally fitted spots.
Mailbox, rubbish bin and house number
The mailbox and rubbish bin also need to be lit. Here you can choose a wall lamp, possibly with motion sensor so the lamp only turns on when needed. For the house number and nameplate we carry for example ”Numbers”, a diode lamp with a house number that uses so little energy that it can be turned on all night without much consumption.
Garage and carport
At the garage you get good lighting with bed or wall lamps, possibly with motion sensors. In the garage it is practical with good lighting so it is easy to orient yourself and work. Here fluorescent lamps are a good solution as they give good diffusion of light, colour replication as well as conservation of energy. In the carport is practical with internally fitted spots. They give a nice, comfortable light while making it easy to orient oneself and work.
Outdoor lamps for fixing must be fixed by a certified electrician.
